In Greek mythology, it is said that when Perseus cuts off the Gorgon’s head, drops of her blood fall into the sea and solidify into coral. Today, the name gorgonians is used for 16 species of coral considered precious. Besides them, there are more than 6,000 other species.<\/p>\n

Zarathustra calls coral a magical guardian stone of human health, a claim also made by Paracelsus.<\/p>\n

All types of coral protect against negative energies, strengthen feelings of love and the need for partnership.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
